Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is the primary airport serving the Greater Los Angeles area and the busiest on the US West Coast. With nine passenger terminals in a horseshoe layout, it handles over 75 million passengers. LAX connects to more than 200 destinations. The automated APM people-mover connects all terminals, and a Metro rail extension will soon link to the city's transit network.
