Airport Overview

Berlin Brandenburg Airport Willy Brandt (BER) opened in 2020 as the single airport serving Germany's capital. Located 18 km south of central Berlin, it replaced the historic Tegel and Schonefeld airports. BER handles over 25 million passengers through two terminals and offers direct rail connections to Berlin's city centre via the Airport Express and S-Bahn.
